At Kindercentrum De Groeitrap we want to support parents and their children with questions or concerns about sleep. We understand that sleep problems can negatively affect your child's life, from energy and concentration during the day to overall health and well-being. In addition, a child's sleep also has an effect on the sleep of the parents. With young children it is very normal that they still need a certain form of support and proximity. But that does not mean that a good balance between the needs of the child and the parent(s) cannot be sought.
Together we will look for the causes of the problems that the child or parent(s) experience and develop a tailor-made plan to make changes where necessary. Here we always take into account the specific needs of the child, extra attention is paid to connection and a safe attachment and the emotional aspect of sleep is given an important role. Letting children cry and consciously using separation when a child is not ready for this are therefore absolutely not part of our vision.

During the intake interview, Kindercentrum De Groeitrap tries to get as broad a picture as possible of your child's sleep problems and the factors that contribute to this. What brings you to us? We ensure that we get a clear picture of the request for help.
During the coaching sessions there is room for the story and feelings of your child, where personal attention and customization are central. We use different techniques such as relaxation exercises and sleep education.
The aim of the sessions is to transform your child's sleep problems into a healthy sleep routine, so that you can enjoy each new day full of energy and zest for life.
