With a multidisciplinary approach and in collaboration with all parties involved, we aim to empower children and young people from 0 to 21 years old, helping them grow towards their full potential by optimally guiding and informing them and their direct environment.

Bjorn Zwakhoven, Joke Claes, Marianne De Smedt, and Stéphanie Van Gaal are the proud owners of Kindercentrum De Groeitrap, a multidisciplinary center in the Leuven region. Our expertise lies in supporting children and their environment, each with our own specific focus.
As a coach, Bjorn explores the talents, inner and outer worlds of the child, as well as their surroundings. He is also a certified coach at Hoogbloeier, a center of expertise for giftedness. Joke, Marianne, and Stéphanie are physiotherapists who literally and figuratively get children moving. By working individually and collaboratively across different specializations, we aim to help as many children as possible between the ages of 0 and 21 grow and thrive.

Positive and multidisciplinary…
Being parents ourselves, we understand like no other how important it is for children to feel good about themselves. Our dream? To guide children at their own pace toward reaching their greatest potential.
Every day, we can count on the enthusiasm of a fantastic multidisciplinary team. Physiotherapists, speech therapists, pediatricians, psychologists, and coaches—all of them work together to create a safe space where children and young people are free to be themselves, without constantly being confronted with their differences.

Inspire and relax…
